In our opinion, both Waterloo Region and Wellington County, in particular Kitchener Waterloo have been leaders in the tech space with impressive names like Google & Shopify having significant office locations in our downtown core. Not to mention the reputable educational institutions in both KW and Guelph. Our proximity to the GTA, substantial increase of work at home dependence and continued growth in new real estate development will keep us economically safe for the foreseeable future.
